I’m a political theorist working at the intersection of democratic theory and economic justice. I’m interested in the ways that our economic lives – institutions and relationships – shape our political lives in more or less democratic directions.
I’m currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at New York University’s Department of Politics. I received my PhD in Political Theory at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I was born and raised in Istanbul. My name is pronounced like this.
